Extreme Blitz Rhino Ramp 12 000 sold for much less anywhere else
I bought these ramps for sale for thirty-eight of Advance Auto Parts (usually run forty-five). Other local stores sell fifty-sixties, so even with shipping cost ninety-two, plus five more for shipping is a scam. I used to have problems with a pair of steel ramps that generally affect the bumper cars in a couple used to own. When this happened the bumper sometimes ramps push forward if the weight of the vehicle can take it, and if a ramp slid further forward than the other or moved to one side when it slid, it seemed potentially dangerous. I also had problems with the tires slipping at times when I tried to climb the steel ramps. Finally I got rid of the steel ramps.
The redesigned 2007 Camry has a low ceiling that often views the pavement in parking lots, so I was wondering if Rhino ramps work with my car. After to read comments from other car owners who had no problems I decided to give them a chance. It turns out that the rounded front bumper of my 2007 Camry projects more in the middle that makes it in front of your tires and had no problem driving up on ramps. The texture on the ramps seem to work well because have no problem with any of slippage.
Of course, I did not heavier Rhino Ramps 12 000 Extreme for my car (a couple of these weigh 21 pounds, compared with 15 pounds for Rhino Ramps 8000). Two handles on each ramp that is easy to collect and carry one in each hand. There is a hole so I could hang each one on a heavy nail. You can not stack the way you can stack ramps steel, however there is much more contact with the ground so they are less likely to slip (and less likely to sink into the soft earth), the surface of the ramps seems less slippery than steel ramps I've looked and can not oxidize the way steel can. They seem very stable and well integrated. There is a little plastic rubber to give more traction with the ground at the rear of the ramps and that is the only part I imagine it could get worn out (or money deposit and degrade) quickly. These ramps lifting a car 6.5 inches from the ground so, provided it is enough to change my oil, they will be exactly what I need.

Not as good as advertised.
This ramp is good for small cars. It can be powerful when you get the car, but first you must get the car on the track! With my BMW 650i, the ramp keeps sliding further and create situations danger. June 6 slipped time and thank God slipped out of the car and hit anythung not serious, but can also damage the car. When one wheel slips, the other gets halfway, the car is tilted and you are always afraid if one of the ramps are locked under the car. Then, well screwed!
I recommend this ramp for light vehicles with a lot of free space. I would like to make one with lower and higher (lower level of promotion).

Decent ramps
In fact, I found these, 12,000 pounds ramps Pep Boys here in Los Angeles for $ 45 (this week's special I think). Price seems a little here at the top.
The ones I got were black, which is preferable IMO.
Yes, they are plastic - but very strong. My attention is a Merdedes Sl, the total weight of 4200 pounds, but I'm mind and security I bought the model for 12,000 pounds.
NOTE: this is for vehicles with GVW up to 12,000. No * each ramp *. Each of these ramps is rated at 3000 pounds weight.
They work well, are easy to move up the stop at the end is certainly enough and provide enough space under the car for oil changes.
I will change my transmission filter and it will be a little more difficult.
All seem to be decent, durable ramps. Especially useful for oil changes.
SAFETY NOTE: They are made of plastic, you should be inspected periodically for signs of cracking. Over time, plastic can degrade and become brittle or lose its strength.
ALSO: Do not use solvents to clean these - some solvents can degrade plastic. To be safe, based on the use of degreasing detergent for cleaning.
