 How do you fix the power lock on the driver side door of a 2004 Mercedes E320? The power lock on the driver side door no longer works and my dad and I are looking for a way to fix it ourselves rather than taking it to a mechanic so we can save some money. If anyone knows anything PLEASE let me know! I have a 2004 Mercedes E320 and I would really love to fix this problem because all it does is a loud clicking noise. Thanks in advance! The first thing you need to do is test to see if the switch is bad. You can test this with a volt meter to see if you have power on the other side of the switch. If it doesnt then check to see if you have power to the switch itself. If it does have power but none on the opposite side of switch while you are locking/unlocking it then replace the switch. It could also be a bad actuator but thats a little more complicated to fix. |
