 Can a 2007 honda pilot 2wd tow a 2007 ranger bass boat with 200 hp? I have a 2007 honda Pilot 2wd ex and just wanna know if the car can tow a 2007 ranger bass boat with 200 hp? and do I need the cooler system for the power steering and radiator or I can do without it? please give me detail... thanks! I would look in the owners manual as well as the rating on the hitch you have on the Pilot. If you are still unsure, I recommend calling your local U-Haul and asking them. Before you do though, find the weight of the boat+trailer; they should be able to tell you if your car can tow it. A transmission cooler is always recommended for towing with a smaller vehicle such as yours, especially if you are going any length of distance (you might already have one though, it looks like a small (<1 sq ft) radiator attached to your regular radiator). You will NEVER need a cooler for your power sttering (plus your honda should already have a basic cooling system for power steering, my 93 Accord did at least and you have a small SUV). |
