![]() How do I install Crown Molding or Mouldings in my Home? I am recently a new homeowner and I'm very excited, but I want to take on some home improvement projects. I love the look of crown molding and would really like to tackle this job myself (b/c of a limited budget). Does anyone have any solutions or tips as to how to install crown moulding properly? I would love a step-by-step guide or possible video of how to install the moldings. - Any answers about crown molding instillation would be helpful. Thanks! Congrats on your new home purchase! I remember when I bought my first home and how excited I was to do all the home improvement projects. Crown Molding is an excellent choice that not only looks good, but will definitely increase the value of your home. Crown molding instillation can seem intimidating, but really if you have the right tools and basic knowledge installing crown molding isn't too hard. The first thing to do is choose the right crown molding for your room. If you are working with a smaller room than you should choose less detailed/thin crown molding. If you are working with a larger room you can purchase thicker/detailed crown molding. Remember the molding is an accent and shouldn't be the focal point. If you haven't bought your molding yet you may want to check out this link for crown molding supplies. http://www.invitinghome.com/Crown_Molding/Molding_List.htm I think it's important to not only read about crown molding instillation, but also watch video demonstrations so that you know exactly what you need to do. I have linked you to a text/video crown molding instillation guide that I found to be very helpful. http://www.invitinghome.com/Instractions/Crown_Cornice_Mouldings.htm I hope that your project turns out great... and remember to measure twice and cut once. Good luck! |

China as a Leading Mould Exporter in the Asia Continent
Industry News
Asia has seen the fanatic rise of China as the leading mould exporter in the continent. Since 2000 the Chinese industry has seen a 20% rise in growth rate and has further shown an increased enhancement in production volume and quality. Although China’s mould exports have exceeded 1 billion USD, China’s mould imports continue to be in excess of 2 billion USD. Most of these moulds are medium or high grade mould products that cannot be produced locally. Only 50% of the medium and high quality moulds in China are produced domestically.
The 2 billion Dollar import figure is a challenge and a big opportunity for the Chinese mould suppliers. The local industry has a 2 billion dollar market already to strive for, regardless of the other limitless opportunities the economically thriving China presents.
The need of the hour for the Chinese suppliers is to move towards a more exact and more sophisticated industry, thereby reducing the development cycle while at the same time producing higher quality robust goods.
